Diana-Isabell Stelling..

.. was born in Bremen, a city in the north of Germany on the 5th of January 1981. She grew up and received her education in the southern German state of Bavaria. During her training at the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim (Germany), she was granted a scholarship to study for one semester at the Hogeschool van de Kunsten in Utrecht (The Netherlands). As part of her post-graduate Diploma she completed a variety of practical, trade related internships. Firstly with BB, a shop fitting company in Allersberg (Germany), and then with another construction company SAMAGO Construcciones in Competa (Spain). Further practical experience includes a 5-month internship with Bangkok BCN, a furniture factory in Bangkok (Thailand). For her graduation project "Architecture and Sport" she designed, planned and realised a resort project in Cumbuco (Brazil). Diana-Isabell graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Rosenheim in March 2006 as "Diplom Ingenieur" Interior Architecture. From 2006 to 2008 she worked for highly regarded MD-architects (Architects and Urban Design) in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil. www.md-brasil.com In 2008 she established her independent company, Stelling-concepts is a multi-faceted design firm whose work includes furniture design, architectural design, residential architecture, interior design, planning, and multi-unit residential housing. A strong firm history of close working relationships with clients and focused design, combined with an acute understanding of place, continues to lead her to unique architectural solutions. Her process begins as a collaboration between her, the client, and the unique spatial and programmatic demands of each project. The desire to respond to each design problem with a distinct solution is at the core of her work. Stelling-concepts is located in central Cumbuco, a fishing village on the north-east coast of Ceara, Brazil.
